We had only 2 nights at the hotel, but enjoyed it. On check-in, however, we were given a room that is a 'smoking' room. Since I am highly allergic to smoke, I went down stairs to procure another room. Also, I was traveling with a woman friend, and we don't sleep together. The beds were pushed together... not!
After a few minutes of juggling things, the people at the front desk gave us a room on the 7th floor (executive floor) which was a non-smoking room. Someone came in and pushed the beds apart and put a night stand between them which was helpful. The room did look out to the rooftops of the area, but it was clean and comfortable.

The staff and service is excellent . I agree it is not up to The Leading Hotels criteria normally found but it is a very comfortable place to stay. Rooms are very comfy and especially clean. lobby and dining room are nice. food is about a 31/2 but good. Good location ..about 5-10 euro's to go just about anywhere by cab.

Stayed here one night on our return from a short 4 day cruise. Really a nice place. Rooms were large and well appointed. Bathroom was clean and vey nice. Found a nice place to eat right next to the hotel. There is also a small grocery store just past where the restaurants were. Went up to the pool bar for a drink. Watched the sunset on the Acropolis. Awesome view. It is also located in one of the nicer areas of Athens. Definitely a great place to stay in Athens.
