“All about location, rest quite average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Spent 3 nights. As other reviews state, probably the hall creates some expectations that are faded away as soon as you enter the rooms. Poor quality and old rooms with cheap furniture and noisier than desired.

Breakfast is reasonable and costs 12 euros. Internet is not free and is only for one device once you buy it. Elevators are really annoying, takes forever to go up and down the room don't know exactly why.

A positive point is the rooftop terrace/restaurant. It is a must and food is really good. Service is average.

To me is definitely a 3 star.

I was on a business trip to Athens, and stayed at Titania for two nights. Very clean hotel, with kind staff, nice and big lobby and a very satisfying breakfast. Very pleasant surprise was the fact that hotel offers ipad to customers...

The area of the hotel is very convinient in terms of trasportation.

The negative thing about this hotel is that there is not free wifi (neither at the rooms, or the lobby). Also the price wasn't the best, 250 € for two nights for a single room.

We stayed at the Titania three nights while seeing Athens and one last night after visiting the islands. Our first room was great - clean and comfortable if a little small. On our second stay, the room was identical, but the air conditioning barely managed to wheeze out a little slightly cool air. If it had been hotter or we'd been staying longer I would have made an issue but it wasn't that big a problem for one night.
The hotel's breakfast (included in the cost) was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. The Titania is within walking distance of many of the popular sights and locations or a quick cab ride if you're not a walker. The neighborhood isn't great, but seemed safe enough.
I'd recommend the Titania as a place that's more than a roof and a bed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Room Tip: Street noise is noticeable on lower floors streetside.

The Titania Hotel is in a great location being mid way between two metro stations and a ten minute walk to the centre of Athens. The area may have seen better days, but it is safe and local shopkeepers are welcoming. The Executive Rooms are much better with a reasonable sized bathroom, but it is fairly compact in the Superior Rooms. We had to change rooms and a little TLC in some rooms wouldn't go wrong. Staff are helpful, attentive and rooms are clean. We'd use the hotel again in an Executive Room and certainly recommend it to other travellers.

Room Tip: Executive Rooms on 8th floor and above are best.

Well I stayed there in September with my family for vacation, it was a beautiful hotel from the outside and the inside rooms are cozy with a good Price. And the thing that made most nice Is that it lies at the middle of Athens with stunning look of the pantheon if you have lunch there. Though our room had no view it was clean overall a nice hotel for travelers and people who like sighseeing.

Fortunately we were so tired all we wanted was a bed, so the slightly odd smelling room, and the not entirely clean bathroom didn't really bother us. But would have to say it was very average. The view from the rooftop bar and restaurant however was something else! Stunning view over Athens and made the room a non event. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

A nice hotel not too far from Plaka and metro. Rooms are OK but not too spacious. Olive Garden restaurant is great, very busy with brilliant view if the acropolis. Location is OK with a fair walk to plaka where all the action is. On the whole, not a bad option.
