“Lovely roof-caffe bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

a hotel of course but my experience is from the cafe bar of the hotel in the top of the building, what can i say? lovely view in acropoli (like the 360 cocktailbar)
excellent staff very friendly ,that's why this cafe bar is filling up with people almost every time of the day! so if you dont want to wait and have good place with the best view you can do a booking !!

open hours of cafe bar:

mon - thu: 11:00 in the morning. - 2:30 at night
fri - sat: 11:00 in the morning - 3:30 at night
sun: 11:00 in the night. - 2:30 at night

Two girls in their 30's stayed here for a night in a twin room and we weren't disappointed. Service was fantastic with the reception recommending a dinner place (360 degrees) when we checked in and even making us a reservation for us.

Rooms were a good size with a lovely bathroom. There was no view from our room on the fourth floor but that didn't matter for us. The view from the breakfast room was amazing overlooking the Acropolis.

Breakfast was included and contained a good spread of food including toast, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, fruit, ham and cheese and a few sweet pastry things.

We were very impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay again. Location is fantastic and the views superb.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Mykonos and it was excellent. The rooms are large, modern and very comfortable. Loved the bathroom!

Breakfast was included which was great and the location is perfect - right across the road from the main square. There is even a cocktail bar on the roof although we didn't go and we couldn't hear any noise from our room.

Staff here are wonderful. They recommended a restaurant for dinner and even called ahead for us and made a reservation.

I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Athens again.

Good location, very convenient - right next to the Monastiraki metro station and within walking distance to major attractions. Good view of the Parthenon from the balcony and great view from the rooftop restaurant/bar. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and modern.

Stayed here for one night en route to Poros. Overlooking Monastiraki Square and metro this hotel is in a great location exploring Athens. Our room had a great view of the Acropolis which is about 15 mins walk. Handy for exploring Plaka too. Bar on the roof - where breakfast is also served - has great views and great cocktails. We were slightly worried about the noise from the bar but couldn't hear anything once in our room. The room was spacious and modern with fridge and free WiFi. Would definitely recommend a stay. As reported by others the lift is slow and and tiny but it's minor complaint about an otherwise great hotel.

Very close to Monastiraki Square which makes it a 10min walk to the Acropolis, 20metres from the metro (which goes to the airport) and neay the shops and markets. Fantastic location and to be honest, Athens is not a city where you want to be walking around lots (not exactly the safest place plus it gets very hot) so a good location is worth it. Hotel has a rooftop bar where breakfast is served, good variety of food and great views. The rooms are large, clean, with good beds and fabulous showers! Staff were great - very friendly. Would only stay there if I went back to Athens.

Room Tip: If you can, the rooms with Acropolis views are amazing and well worth the extra cost. The beds are a...

We had a very nice stay at the hotel because we took in suggestions from all the previous reviews. The elevator is SMALL (three people max) so checking-in or out with luggage can be a hassle.

We requested a room on the third floor as suggested by some reviewers. Although we couldn't get a room with the Acropolis view, the room was very spacious comparing to most European hotels. The bathroom was also well designed. We stayed there for 3 nights over the Orthodox Easter, so aside from the noise of the Night Club at roof top and the noise from the parade was also an issue. We could hear people tapping on the floor and the music even on the third floor. At 0430, we heard chairs and tables moving to be ready for breakfast, and we are not light sleepers!

The hotel is very conveniently located allowing easy access and walking to many tourist sites. There is also no shortage of restaurants to dine at. The staff are also very helpful. The breakfast is good with great selection and variety. The best of course is the view of Acropolis and the surrounding on the roof top - so don’t miss it. One negative comment: The elevator door opens onto a very narrow landing with white marble stairs less than 3 feet away. The hallway door also opens into the landing area right next to the elevator. We had an accident when our elderly mother tried to avoid the opening elevator and hallway door and fell down the stairs. The white marble floor and stairs also gave a false sense of depth perception. Needless to say, it was a very scary experience. There is an urgent need to redesign the doors and have better markings (different colours) for the top stair.

Room Tip: Third floor- not only it is quieter, you can also use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator
