“Truly magnificent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

Lots of tourists so be prepared. ;-)
We took the small narrow paths from downtown and up. The view to all sides is truly wonderful and well worth the visit.
There was free admission today. Don't know if that goes for every Sunday.

“Magnificent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

This is a must see attraction for anyone visiting Athens. The walk up has so many interesting sights along the way, you forgot you were going uphill. Leave early to avoid the heat of the day and crowds and don't forget your water and sunscreen. It is a beautiful building with great views of the city below. As wonderful as it is too look up at the Parthenon from the city and admire it, it is even more spectacular to be on the hill.

“Unique.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

Unique and Perfect! You have to visit it,to feel the vibes and study it's architectural perfection that is reflected absolutely in tis beauty! Despite the fact the there is no staright line on it the eye understands everything as a perfect line.geometry and light study at its very best! Except from a god's temple Parthenon is a marvelous architectural construction.the energy of the hill is SO strong that nothing living fly over it! After Parthenon you have to visit the new acropolis museum, it is so close after all.

“Yes, Greece has history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

It is a must see. but please do some home work/reading prior since you would need to spend at least half a day walking there and see things that have to make sense to you. What you can realize is that Greeks enjoy a long history much before other nations...A must see. Take water with you.

“Crowded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013 via mobile

This is hands down a first class monument and is surely worth the visit. Such a shame it is in such a poor shape but a guide explained us that the Greeks have a policy of deliberately keeping their monuments derelict so you could feel the passage of time. That aside, it is very crowded and that can get bothersome. Still awesome though.
