It was our second stay in this hotel. We enjoyed it very much. It is well located, quiet and clean.The breakfast is very good and the staff friendly.We will go back to this hotel for our next stay in Athens.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Clean, quiet and also convenient. We just walked for around 10 min to the nearest subway station. Easy to go to town center. Breakfast is also good too. i will recommend this hotel to my friends and we would like to stay in this hotel next time. The service is also very good. We arrived there in the morning before 5 am and they gave us a room immediately. This is very good because we had a long flight from our home to arrive to Athen. We also did not sleep at all during we our transit in London, UK for 4-5 hours.

The Acropolis Hill Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Athens if you are fond of sightseeing. I am here for 9 days on business and it has been more like a pleasure trip. About 56% of the population speaks English so you will not have a problem navigating the city on your own. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel but you can take the metro if you don't like to walk. If you are an ancient history buff there is much to see. I wandered around exploring on my own for several days until I realized I had a wealth of information right at the hotel front desk that I could have been using. If you want to explore the city, stop at the front desk when Harris, Vangelis, or Avgi is on duty there. Any one of them can give you excellent information about how to find the hidden things in the city that you probably won't stumble across on your own. Shopping is abundant and priced just right for the tourist if you go to the right areas and know how to haggle.

My room was particularly comfortable and was just the right temperature every night. Athens is not normally a very cold place, but it snowed (which is a rare occurrence) while I was here for 1 of the days. All of the hotel staff are extremely accommodating and genuinely interested in whether or not your stay with them has been pleasurable. So don't be surprised if someone asks you at least once during the day if everything has been to your liking.

The breakfast buffet is the absolute bomb! There is typical European cuisine, but for us Americans there was never-ending scrambled eggs and sausages which were *always* fresh (some other hotels I've been to had scrambled eggs, but they were cold and rubbery. That was definitely not the case here!!!). Aleka is wonderful! She makes sure all your food is fresh and ready for your consumption. While you're busy eating, she's busy preparing more food so you never have to worry about waiting around if a particular dish you like runs out. If you leave out of there and are still hungry, it's your own fault because she prepares enough variety that everyone down to the smallest kid is going to find something to eat that they like.

Finally, if you're one who likes to hang out in the hotel instead of doing a lot of walking, check out the deck on the 5th floor. You can see a beautiful view of the city from that vantage point while still wearing your bedroom slippers. LOL! It's much more fun to go out and mingle with the natives of the area though. Many are very personable and love that you are taking the time to explore their beautiful city.

We spent there 4 nights over the Christmas period. The hotel is very well situated (only short walking distance from all sites and metro station) and in a very calm area (no parking problem if you plan to have a car). Our room was very clean, the heating was working perfectly and the same was the high speed Wi-Fi. The only disadvantage is that the room was a bit small, so travelling with 2 or more big suitcases might create a minor space problem. The breakfast was excellent -one of the best we could have- and all the staff was more than friendly and helpful every time we asked for its assistance. Having been to numerous hotels in Athens, we must say that this one was one of the best we ever stayed. Not to mention its excellent price/quality ratio for the Christmas period. We definitely recommend it for short or longer stays in Athens, enjoy it!
