I visited this cafe with my partner one lunchtime during a week-long visit to Athens. While it was more of a pit-stop - a glass of Alfa lager and a two-scoop ice cream - the friendly reception we received there was enough for us to go back the following day.
We were welcomed by the same waiter, who recognised us from our previous trip. Again this was a pit-stop, but on our third visit (for a full lunch), we were welcomed like family.
The menu is simple and, while it doesn't give the full range of gyros and kebabs, the food on offer is local, tasty and filling.
