“Awesome staff, very comfy rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014 via mobile

The staff really were service orientated - good to chat to, helpful with info and advice. Rooms were good - though not best on a scorching might and you don't like air con - but manageable. Showers were great - huge!! Location - though just a little outside of tourist sites (might be considered a good thing?) it's very accessible - metro is 5 mins walk, and to be honest taxis are cheap too in Athens. Would stay there again no problem

It is a very nice hotel in the city center but the tranportation is not very easy. It is a bit far from the metro station. It is very clean and tidy and the breakfast was fantastic. Some rooms have an incredible view but not all. You have to ask for. A bit expensive for what it offers.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor

I enjoyed my three night stay here very much. It was easy to get to from the airport via the Metro and also from the different activities I did each day. I preferred that it was in a quieter area and not right in the very busy centre. Even so getting in and out of the main areas only took 20 minutes so it was very convenient.

The room was very good and air conditioned which was essential being their in August. The check in and out was quick, efficient and friendly. The breakfast was all fine too with a fair range of items. The wifi worked well in the reception area but not so well in my room.
All in all is it a good hotel, conveniently located and well run. I'd definitely stay there again if I visited Athens again.

It is in a convenient place in Athens. Near to bus and metro stations. Staff is friendly. I had a nice balcony too. Rooms are comfortable. The only problem was the coffee cups weren't clean enough. Breakfast was not bad could be better in Greece. If you want a small, comfortable and affordable place to stay in Athens i would recommend it.

I visited the Areos hotel for a one night stay in order to be close to Larissa station. The hotel staff greeted us warmly on arrival and were very friendly. After settling in the room ( which was a single double room with beautiful bathroom) , we had drinks in the bar where the barman was again very friendly. Overall the stay was very pleasant in a very efficient well run hotel. Plan to visit again in September

We stayed here for three nights, the room was clean, breakfast was decent and the staff were helpful. It was a 40 minute walk to the main sites, so get the metro, hire a car or get a taxi. We did walk each day, but unfit, the elderly or families with young children should not really walk it.

We stayed here for 8 days and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Their Internet was fast and always available, the cleaners were great (cleaning up after two American boys is not easy). Well rounded breakfast and most of all the help with finding local places, great island suggestions and great bar/restaurant recommendations. They took time out of their day to make sure we had the best trip possible by researching whatever we were looking for and drawing directions on maps. The hotel itself is very modern and up-to-date. The bathrooms are not normal European size, but rather nice, large and clean. Number one choice as your home base is Athens if you would like to see places other than just the acropolis!
Thanks Areos!

Room Tip: Ask for the fifth floor room 503, huge balcony.
