Bev fitted us in by giving us the last table in the place. We phoned late afternoon on the day we arrived. It was in the foyer area and this had been explained to us by Bev when we booked. There was a very good selection of fish on offer and we both chose Dover Sole as our main. Whilst the fish was fresh and cooked well, sadly the preparation of the fish had not been done well and when I cut into mine, fish blood oozed onto the plate. Not good, especially at £18 a time. However, Bev was swift to apologise and deducted the cost of one of the fish from our bill. The gutting is done by the fishmonger and not in house and I am sure Bev will be having a firm word with him. Apart from that we had excellent service. It is not cheap, but then fish is more expensive than steak these days. For us, who live as far from the sea as possible in the UK ( The Cotswolds) it was a treat to have such fresh fish on offer.
