“Lovely Fishy Plaice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Bev fitted us in by giving us the last table in the place. We phoned late afternoon on the day we arrived. It was in the foyer area and this had been explained to us by Bev when we booked. There was a very good selection of fish on offer and we both chose Dover Sole as our main. Whilst the fish was fresh and cooked well, sadly the preparation of the fish had not been done well and when I cut into mine, fish blood oozed onto the plate. Not good, especially at £18 a time. However, Bev was swift to apologise and deducted the cost of one of the fish from our bill. The gutting is done by the fishmonger and not in house and I am sure Bev will be having a firm word with him. Apart from that we had excellent service. It is not cheap, but then fish is more expensive than steak these days. For us, who live as far from the sea as possible in the UK ( The Cotswolds) it was a treat to have such fresh fish on offer.

“Serendipity!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

The restaurant was fully booked but a table for two was found for us last minute. Eccentric and delightful! Excellent seafood cuisine and warm welcome.

“Fantastic sea food but service and facilities lacking.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013 via mobile

The food espec. the Lobster were superb. However the restaurant was overbooked on the night we were there and the kitchen and service suffered. The toilet facilities are poor, but hey I was there for the sea food and that was fantastic.

“Fantastic Fish - as always !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We visited The Nest on a trip to Pembrokeshire last week. this is the 5th consecutive year that we've eaten at The Nest and Bev and the team continue to deliver first class food with v friendly and efficient service.Once again I took advice from Bev on the best option from the specials - the Sea Bream this time - and it was fantastic - succulent & v tasty. the others in my party had fish & meat options that were all excellent.

This has to be the best fish restaurant in Wales ! We'll be back again next time we're in Pembrokeshire.

“A little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

What a little gem tucked away in Little Haven but it is obviously very popular so it's as well to ring and book. If you are a fish fan, this is definately the place to go as there must have been at least six different fish on offer as mains plus fishy starters - my wife's idea of heaven !! The chef was popping in and out helping diners make their choices and checking that everyone was happy with their meals - and happy we were. Everyrthing we had was of excellent quality and beautifully prepared and served. We came away feeling nicely full and contented - what more could you ask.
