The hotel is nearby public transportation stops and is cheap. That's all about »the good».

Now about »the bad». I spent two nights in something like a public toilet. Not only 'cause toilet and shower were in the very same room I slept. But there was a big dirty stinking hole in a canalization pipe just before the room's door. They had a note on the reception, something like »under construction, blah-blah», but c'mon, it's really easy to fix a hole in the pipe, why it is open permanently?!

When I asked the staff for tea, every time they asked me to pay different sums (once it was 2 eur, another time it was 1.5 eur) and it looked like a cheating. Breakfasts are not worth to pay for at all. And yes, the hotel has wifi Internet access, but the connection speed is below any reasonable limit.

Beside of that, you should be prepared to find yourself at the border of a real ghetto — thanks God, not in the middle of it. So if you plan your first trip to Brussels, never repeat my mistake and don't stay here. You will hate this city.

This was a quick one-night/early start next morning visit to Brussels for a conference. The hotel is basic, very basic, but it is 'clean and decent'. At €50 a night, extra €10 for breakfast (again, basic...), it was a perfect night-stop for a solo, easily-pleased traveller. My conference was nearer to Bruxelles Centrale station, but this was an easy direct 10/15 minute walk form this hotel.
Just a couple of words of caution; it's located on the edge of the red-light area so slightly salubrious surroundings, although I didn't feel a 'heavy' atmosphere. Also let's talk about car-parking....park in the 'Rogier' Car Park (under Bruxelles Noord station). it's secure and cost me €14 for almost 24 hours.

Room Tip: I had the basement room (#40), quiet and cosy, but 5cm 'legroom' between the leading edge of...

I have had 2 days in this very simple, but nice hotel with my family in a 3-bed room. The staff was very helpful an lovely. The room was appropriate for 3 people with a very good bathroom.
The were all day-available for my questions, asking!
The place was very close to the center of the city, 20 minutes by foot
Thank you very much!
