“Excellent Hotel”

Stayed here for two nights. Everything was fine. The hotel has a car park for customers. The staff was friendly and helpful! The room is quite big, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom ok. We understand some of the older reviewers that they found the bathroom old. Well it's not really new but not very old either. It was still fine for us.
The metro station is just around the corner. They allow dogs.

Spend one night in Sheraton on our way back home. Good location, 5 minutes from the old town centre .
Hotel is very big. Reception worked fast, room was clean and big. Bathroom looked old and need urgent renovation. Bar and lobby looked old and not up to date. Breakfast was included in our rate ( 260,-. Euro for a double ) but was not good. Service in Bar abnd Restaurant was slow.
So for the one night it was ok, but would not come back

We do apologize for the apparent deficiences of our food and beverage team during the busy new year's period. Note that we are continuing to work with our owning company on planning the upcoming renovation of our hotel starting in the (hopefully not-too-distant) future.

The expectations on a 4 star Hotel were not fulfilled. The first room was dirty and loud. The bathrooms could need some renewing. The toilets in the restaurant smelled bad and were not clean. The breakfast is way overpriced. Positive: location is excellent.

The hotel is located approximate to many attractions and entertainment. The north train station is 5mins from, the long neuve shopping street and the mall are 300meter. Whereas, metro, restaurants, cafés, casinos are also within the area. In terms of location, it is a fabulous choice. The hop on double Decker bus shops right from hotel, which is useful to get around to the many attractions like the tom yom,cathedrale,etc. However, to get to the maneken piss,historical center, a good walk of appro.15mins.

Speaking about the hotel, it has a small swimming pool,a fitness, a spa. The usage of internet either WiFi or wired are both payable. A 30mins to an hour usage per day are free in the room. However, at the lobby there are several computers at no costs at all. The WiFi also free at the lobby. Alternatively, WiFi costs at euro5 email and surfing or 15euro for a good bandwidth, it is valid for 3 devices.
The club room is very spacious, we kinda like it, except that it was not cleaned. There were hairs at the sink, dust on the TV, table. In the club room, a desk to work, table to relax. There is a bathtub, etc except no magnifier mirror. The door kinda so ageing, it shakes each time. Sometimes I wonder if it closes or not.
The staffs are not friendly at all. From the moment we checked in, no greetings, the reception lady oriental who checked us in, was so grumpy, not willing to assist. I did not feel the Sheraton Starwoods like. What weird are when you crossed the staffs at the elevator, lobby, hall floors, there are no greetings whatsoever.
The breakfast kinda great choice of everything, except that the service was terrible. As no one clears the plate, the serving buffet aren't well maintained, when the café machines aren't working. The staff doesn't take initiatives to resolve. And another weirdest thing, they don't say good morning, happy new year,etc. They will just look somewhere else, if you weren't exist. Furthermore, the housekeeping seems to be using the hallfloor to store the equipment for cleaning, weirdly these things are at all times. As a result of this the passage is interrupted and I don't feel anymore if it is a hotel or an apartment.

During checked out, they don't bother to inquire if your stay had been great or not, or if the bags can be stored. The personnel are not interested to make your stay as memorable as it should be. Kinda disappointed, but of course many hotels around with a better care and attentions. Compliments to the bellman, very professional.

So it is the fellow travellers who decide, where to stay, what vital the most to their needing. As for me, won't be the same.

This hotel is well located and surrounded by good Restaurants as well,
The rooms are clean, however bathrooms are not what I expect from Sheraton.
Breakfast is very good as well as the swimming pool.
Not my favorite.

The check-in desk of the hotel is quite small and can be crowded, so one might feel rushed or find oneself waiting if there's a large crowd of tourists such was the case when I arrived. The counter staff was polite nonetheless. I stayed in a very spacious room, but it seemed like it was empty. Or the bed was too small, or the room was too big. The bathroom was clean but felt like it was the bathroom in a motel more than in a hotel. The decor is very lime green 1970s console. I would definitely recommend to the Sheraton that it's time to redecorate. As I mention in my title, it wasn't awful and it wasn't wonderful.

Very convenient to Gare du Nord. Here for a convention, but easy walk to Grand Place (~1 km) and lots of restaurants. Staff was quite helpful; although I arrived early, they had the room ready as soon as i returned from a jet-lag stroll. My room was quite large.
