“Pots Of Tea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

We had tea poured from a teapot and milk from a jug!
The scones with jam and fresh whipped cream were delicious.
Service was brilliant .
Very old beautiful building.

“Gorgeous Belle Epoque Cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

It is a pleasure to have a coffee in this cafe on Rua Santa Catarina, which is itself delightful. The coffee is excellent but the food is less so. We had a ham with melon that was pretty good but the Caesar salad was poor. I'm giving it 4 stars anyway since it is good for what it specializes in. The waiters were great, friendly and helpful

“Touristy but characterful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

Touristy, yes. But this charming old cafe retains plenty of character. If you don't want to feel you are over-paying, just go for coffee and a pastry. The custard tarts are to die for delicious. And you can sit in comfort and soak up the atmosphere, people watch, and enjoy.

“Stunning decor, great food, outstanding service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

We stumbled upon this place just walking down the street in Porto, and it was so charming. Both the interior and exterior decor was truly captivating. The service was on point- truly courteous and accommodating. The intricately carved woodwork, antique piano, cozy tufted booths, and scrumptious food are all worthy of a visit while in town.

“Too expensive for no reason....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

This is one of the historical references in a city full of history.
Despite this, and compared to many others across Europe, is stupidly expensive.
Nothing justifies the prices because the quality of the food is not that special although correct.
It's a place similar to most of what You find in this country, it leaves from a called "turist rip off".
Worth to visit though, but just go for a coffee and eat somewhere else.

It's a site that will be similar to what is in this country, live an inflated picture.
