“Fantastic value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Very smart hotel - very tastefully designed and comfortable. Incredibly good value - we were very surprised at the quality for the price we had paid. Huge bed with gorgeous bed-linen. Staff were helpful and friendly. We got breakfast to our room one morning which although quite expensive was enormous - we ended up eating half of it for lunch as well! Although some reviews have said it is a bit far from the city centre once we found a direct route it was no problem, and there were plenty of great bars within an easy walk. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I had spent 2 nights at Eurostars Das Artes last week.
Hotel is very clean and modern.
We had a room in newer building, and it was absolutely quite at night.
Location is not that central, but we were able to walk everywhere.
Supermarket around the corner was convenient, food at the restaurants good and cheap. Overall, the restaurants and shops in the Porto are better and cheaper comparing with Lisbon.
Wi-Fi internet worked sporadically in our room, and the only complementary goods in the bathroom were soap and bath gel.
Overall, very nice hotel, especially for the price I paid.

It was a pleasant surprise at the eurostars hotel in Porto. The rooms werer remakable clean and the staff well behaved. The kitchenette was a bonus and i put it too good use.

It was well connected to city cnetre by metro and was also self sufficient with good restaurants closeby.

I would highly recommend this for travellers.

the staff were extremely helpful in reccommending places to go, great value for money, very clean and modern interiors. it's a bit of a walk from the historic centre, but a good location in general, free wifi was handy.

During my trip from Lisbon to Porto I stayed in 4 hotels and this was my favourite. The modern room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Good size television compared with many similar hotels. The bed was a little too firm for my liking but still comfortable enough. The shower was powerful and the bath was nice and deep if that is your preferred option. Granted, the hotel is a long walk to the river but I was well advised by a very helpful guy on reception that there are lots of restaurants and bars in the city centre much closer to the hotel. This proved to be excellent advice as I found them to be much less expensive as well as serving very good quality food in a friendly atmosphere.
The only minor gripe was that I had to keep logging back onto the Wi-Fi although this presumably keeps the number of users down and speed up. Very useful that the Wi-Fi was free throughout the hotel not just in public areas (other hotels please take note!)
Would definitely stay here again if I return to Porto.

Spent two nights at eurostars das artes, despite being in one of the lower floor rooms, I found the room extremely nice, reception was friendly and the warm relaxed modern decoration is nice. I really liked the breakfast room with plenty of light. There is car park available if necessary. Hotel has a great location in the arts district we can walk around the corner and find some of oporto private art galleries. I recommend it and will return when staying in Porto.

Despite being a bit away from the action in Porto, this place offers a quiet and friendly atmosphere. The city is quite small (I mean downtown), so this is not a real problem.
Rooms are smaller than I would expect from a four star hotel, but are nice and cozy, and nothing seems wrong or misplaced.
There is free Internet and a basement parking (for 12 EUR a day), Breakfast is also on the positive side of this hotel.
BTW, the rack rate for a double room is 750 EUR, but it's not the only hotel posting ridiculous rates so anyone should work out his personal deal!

Room Tip: Avoid the top floor!
