“Family of 4 from Wisconsin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We are a family of four from the US visiting Portugal for the first time. We have two boys, 12 and 9 years old. We really appreciated having a half-day driving tour of Porto from The Other Side! Joao was our excellent and generous guide as well as an outstanding driver. Our tour began and ended at our hotel...it could not possibly have been more convenient. He drove us all over the city showing us the best sights, from museums to cathedrals, and stopping frequently. He made many stops and regaled us with stories of Porto's amazing history. He even bought pastries for us from a local pastelaria during a break. Our tour's final stop was at Graham's port wine cellars in Gaia, where we enjoyed a tour and tasting from Graham's staff while Joao waited for us. Because of traffic our tour went longer than its scheduled time, but there was no extra charge. We had a memorable tour and would highly recommend! Many thanks to The Other Side & best of luck until next time!

“A new kind of tourism company”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

We heard about a company in the city with industrial tours. We decided to book a tour to see the factories outside Porto, it was A true trip to the other side of tourism, with a visit to pencil and shoe factory with An specialized guide. Thanks to Paulo for guiding and the company for the development of such tours!!

“Nice Guided Walking Tour of Porto, Potugal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Our guide, John, took us around Porto for 4 hours, showing us the major monuments, streets and neighbourhoods. His English was great, he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and justifiably proud of his City and Country.

“New Amazing and Fresh tour Company in Oport!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Me & my wife we went back to Porto for the second time. This time we choose to do some kind of different activity with a guided tour. We found the other side tourism company and decided to do a request tour. Joao, our tour guide, was amazing. During the mornig he took us trough the city center walking and showed us not only the most known places but also some idden pearls of the city. We had typical "snack" lunch in Ribeira (thanks for the codfish "boliños"). During the evening we made a Van tour trough the surroundings of the city and ended up with a white port wine taste. I was very upset because in the day after we came back to germany and i really wanted to try the "Handicraft" Barcelos Tour!! Maybe when we come back.
This is a true tour company that must be shared, they really try to show "the other side" of Portugal, or the REAL side, not the tourist side. I mean... thanks for existing!
