After traveling through Portugal for 12 days, we ended our stay with a diner in this wonderful restaurant. We had seen it on our first night in Porto, but then decided that it would be a shame to sit inside with the river near and the weather being warm and summery. But it stuck in our head until our last night and so we decided to eat there. We arrived at 21h15 and the restaurant was complete, so we had to go out for a drink elsewhere to return 30 minutes later and find a perfect table ready for us. The menu displays a mix of fish and meat as well as two pasta dishes. We all chose meat (beef tenderloin, lamb confit, pork cheeks). We got an amuse (a glass of apple juice with foamy yoghurt, a piece of fig with smoked ham and a piece of bread with exceptional olive oil and balsamic).
The main dishes were all we could have wanted, for an exceptional price (11€ for the pork with beans and endives, 17,5€ for the lamb with truffle puree and seasonal vegetables, 19€ for the beef tenderloin with carrot puree, crunchy potatoes with almond and apple). We ordered a plate with ten little desserts for the table. In all we paid 90€ for main, wine, water, dessert and coffee and were truly happy! the staff where 3 people that attended to us in a friendly and not too polished manner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Porto and doesn't insist on dining outside.
