“A fun experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

A fun way to get up and down a steep hill. Free if you have got an andante travel card. View are spectacular and it ends up at the riverfront,

“Cheap and almost cheerful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

This is worth trying out, for many reasons; it's the only funicular in central Porto, it's cheap (€1.80 currently) and it has to be the quickest way to get to the top of the bridge. The service is a little testy, but try it.

“Always fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

A great way of getting to the UNESCO site, although better to go to Gaia on the metro (for the stunning views across the Douro), then cross back over by foot and catch this funicular up.

“Quicker and less tiring than walking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

A short trip to the top but for €1.20 - worth it. Good views of the river and the hustle and bustle below...
