“Come for a tour and dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

We took a tour of winery and it was very interesting since there's a lot of history here. We also had dinner in the restaurant and had an excellent meal. Service was very attentive and we got to try different Portuguese cuisine. Recommend tour and restaurant if you have to time.

“Great Port House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

After a long hot walk up the hill we were greeted with a smile and told the walk would be worth it. How true. For 3Euro we were given 3 different types of port and a very good informative cellar tour. It was done with great style and professionalism. And the port was also special.

“Tremendous Taylor Port Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

This was simply a wonderful way to experience the joy of the libation of port in a rather English way. For 3 Euros you have the opportunity to sample a white dry port, enjoy a tour of a port cave then taste a tawny and a ruby port in the comfort of the library or the gardens. Apparently the drinking of White port and Tonic as an aperitif is the done thing here. After this we had a 30 min wander around the Caves with a delightful lady who gave us the do's and don'ts of the Port drinking world as well as a potted history of the Taylor's family. a basic and fun tour, with a shop at the end, a stunning view of the city from their gardens and if you fancy it - a nice meal with same said view in the Taylor's restaurant. We enjoyed it!

“Welcome to the world of Port wine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Its not the one closest to the river, it takes a steep climb, but in return you get a beautiful location, with a gorgeous sight of Porto and, best of all, wonderful Port wine... The tour through the cellars was informative, friendly and provided us with a lot of information about the world of Port Wine. Recommended!
