“Great stay in Porto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The hotel is perfectly placed, it's a short walk from the metro and the Hop on Hop off bus stops right outside. There are bars and cafes nearby, we often finished our day with a drink in one of them. To be honest, when we first arrived we thought the area looked a bit seedy, but we were pleasantly surprised and actually liked the local atmosphere.
The hotel was comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful and polite. I would recommend the hotel and Porto is a great place to visit.

Everything in this hotel was perfect: nice and helpfull people, good breakfast with a lot of variety, clean rooms and a very good location (close to the shops and next to the busstop). Only the beds were a bit hard, but for people with normal backs, this might not be an issue.

Didn't expect anything too impressive considering the chain and the price, but it actually surpassed our expectations. Comfortable beds, roomy enough rooms, great staff, just adequate breakfast, and great location. Would recommend to anyone desiring good location and comfort.

The place to be if you want to visit Porto. The hotel is located 3 minutes from the station and at the edge of the centre. Everything within walking distance. Rooms were small, but clean and there was free wifi.

This is a great Quality Inn. Better than some I have stayed in in the States. The location is great for walking to sites and right at the start of the main shopping street. It is also on the trolley line which connects from the funicular from Riberia area so you don't have to walk up after you have walked down. The breakfast has good choices. It is not luxurious but well maintained and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The cafe next door is good for dinner.

Stayed here for 6 nights and can't fault it. The whole place is clean and tidy, but the decor is a bit dated and needs refreshing. Rooms are small but clean, practical and comfortable. Bed a bit hard for my taste, but my wife loved it. Breakfast is limited but reasonable and kept us going (lots cheaper if you book it ahead).

Very central location within a short walk of the cathedral, river, Sao Bento, Clerigos etc.

The restaurant next door (Tropical) is very good.

Rooms 110 and 111 back on to the local choral society and a few times a week there was loud music in the afternoon, but it always stopped by 6 so no real problem.

Ample sized room, quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Wi-fi signal not too strong. Less than 10 minutes walk to Metro and Urban Railway stations and bus/tram stops opposite hotel.

Room Tip: I had a room at the back of the hotel, very quiet apart from the noise from other guests at times!
