“Good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

A good hotel at a great price. I liked the location and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint was that, when we asked for a restaurant recommendation, they sent us to a total tourist trap. Overall, a great stay and I would certainly book there again when returning to Porto.

Very nice hotel in the very centre of Porto, near all the public transportation, also the beautiful Sao Bento railwaystation. Helpful and friendly staff who speak English or French and provide you with any information you need. If you ask for a taxi, he arrives within two minutes. Quiet spotless rooms and good beds. Nice and spacious bathroom with toilet requisites and hairdryer. The minibar is well provided. The room was big enough but we had a superiour room. Beakfast is abundant and every 15 minutes one of the staffmembers replenished the wide choice of rolls, bread, croissants and pastry. It deserves its four stars and in case of early booking, you will get a discount of 30 %. We were very happy to stay there and strongly recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to visit Porto.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room and book a long time in advance. So you will have a nice room for a good pri...

Nice hotel, near public transportation, turistic bus station just in fromt of the hotel and walking distance from many attractions of the city. Quiet area.
Clean, helful employees, quite rich breakfast. If booking on the hotel site you can find special offers (have them frequently) both for the room price (30% off versus booking.com) and additional services free of charge (e.g. breakfast in bed).

Room Tip: Ask for a non-smoking room if this is the case. Ask a room with view to the city not to Placa de Ba...

Good hotel overall. On the good side: The hotel is clean, excellent location (in the heart of the old city, close to the metro and main attractions), good bed, good services, and good price. On the not so good: Rooms are quite small and bad isolation of noise (you can hear you neighbor pretty loud). I would go back.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2012.

The hotel is located in the center of Porto, at the end of the santa catarina street.
That is the only advantage this hotel has, in my opinion.

I was offered room 209 which smelled like dust and smoke. Same was room 109.
we were then moved to a room on the 3rd floor which was better. Still i couldn't say the room was clean. the towels had stains on it and walls were dirty.
Everything seemed as if no maintenance was done at all.

The service provided by the front desk is no more than ok. They did not make an effort to keep the guest comfortable.
The bed was also not so comfortable, too narrow.

I would never come back.

it's a shame that this is an accor hotel - those are definately not the standards i know from them.

The hotel is conveniently located near the center with easy approach to sight seeing. I was with family and we preferred to walk for nearby sight seeing locations. The rooms are good, clean and properly air conditioned. The staff is nice and cooperative. A good family hotel.
