“Good weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Good weekend.
Very good location, near from a subway station, staff is very friendly and helpfull, the rooms are a good size, was always clean. Nice, but simple continental breakfast.
Free wifi and good and cheap meal menus for dinner.
The car parking is paid, but on the weekends there's alots of free parking spaces close by. Will use it again.

Hotel Porto Premium is located in a gray area, though shops are around the corner. The hotel itself is good, large rooms with large balconies, better described as roof terrace. Bathroom is OK. The hotel is popular with groups. The lobby / reception area incl bar looks rather sterile. The receptionist also serves as a bartender, which leads to irritation on either side. Hotel Premium is far from City center, too far to walk. Taxis are readily available and cost € 7 one way. The hotel offers free WiFi. With the group we had a buffet dinner, which was good. The breakfast was pretty standard. All in all, good value for money.

We were a group of 24 adults, and found this hotel very comfortable and welcoming. Rooms are large and clean, breakfasts and meals in the hotel restaurant were very good. Reception is very friendly as well as the restaurant personnel. The hotel is situated on the edge of the historical centre. The price is quite convenient. We recommend it heartily. Maurice Mifsud

Nothing else to say to... Excellent location, not big, but clean room, people from reception is helpful... But why they have a star from the Michelin, when i can clean my teeth in the wash-bowl, sitting down on the toilet, because bath so small?))))))) Funny, but this hotel is good for money.

Overall I'd say the hotel is very good value for money.
The personnel is very helpful ad friendly. They take their time in answering your questions and giving directions and such.
Breakfast is good, especially for a 3* hotel. A bit more options for sandwich filling would be welcome, but beside that everything is there: scrambled eggs, croissants, cereal, etc. We also enjoyed a diner at the hotel, which was above expectation: it was VERY good. Restaurant staff was very friendly and good as well.
Room decoration is a bit sober and the bathroom a bit cramped. But overall it looks neat and all the basics you need are there!

Premium Porto worths every Euro charged. It´s not a 5 star, so don´t expect to have luxury options, but offers very comfortable (almost new) rooms, larger than average, with LCD tv and nice shower. Parking for 6 Euro and a good breakfast are other pros.
Restaurant also offers good food for the reasonable price.
An excellent option when you compare what it offers for the money !

We stayed there for one night. Lilianne at the reception and her colleagues welcomed us warmly and spoke in fluent French when she heard us speaking in French. The room and public spaces were very clean and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Very modern and excellent value for money.

Breakfast was very good (except for the orange juice which was like Beroca). That is the only thing I will fault the hotel. Keep it up guys and thank you!
