“Nice place with a good service and good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

We discovered the restaurant with a friend the first day we arrive in Porto, and it was a so good value for money place that we came back the last day of our trip!
Very nice service, good traditional plates from Porto, good wines and good desserts :)
A place to visit if you have a stay in Porto.

“Friendly service, nice location, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

Just on a square at the end of a pedestrianized street, the pavement tables offer a convenient location for a relaxing drink or a meal.
In Porto at least it seems common (standard?) to place a small dish of olive and balsamic oil on the table (not complementary, but 1.5euros) to use for dipping bread. No problem but a bit presumptious, maybe.
Anyway we went with octopus and the (beef?) carpaccio (8 and 7euro). Both were very tasty and well presented, and generous enough portions. Dessert was pineapple with balsamic, which was poured into the cavity of the cored fruit. Very refreshing. A glass of white (4.60) was drunk with the meal and a glass of 10yr (red) port chosen as a digestif. (The waitress offered white also but as this was after the meal, only red was really appropriate). With water, the total came to 32.40. Service was friendly, in good English, and fast enough on a busy evening.
A nice meal on a nice evening in a... nice location. What more can one ask for?

“Nice and friendly restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

This restaurant is located near one of the nicest squares of Porto (Praça Carlos Alberto) and in the end of very old commercial pedestrian street (Rua de Cedofeita). The ambience is cool, with modern decorations, a good service and very nice and affordable food. The pizzas and pastas are very good in my opinion...

“Hidden treasure near Boavista”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2012

We stumbled upon this place on the evening we arrived in Porto. Suffering from jet lag and half drenched from the sudden down pour, we thought it was a mirage at first because a) it was one of the very few places open in our area, and b) it offered more than pastries and a toasted sandwich. The interior and the staff were warm and inviting. The menu contained a variety of dishes which catered for all palates. A very modern place with a traditional flavour. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The service was great. It's a shame we were too tired to stay and enjoy it more!

“High quality meals at affordable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

Excellent meals....very tasty and nicely presented. You would think the meals are expensive, however they are very well priced. The cocktails are nice too and not over priced. Great dining experience!
