Braga POP Hostel is like home. The small staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the place is always clean, everything is cosy. The kitchen is also really good as well as the breakfast provided. The location is also really good because it is in middle way between train station and bus station, and also next door to city center!

arriving in braga only expecting to see one thing but ended up being occupied for 3 days - all thanks to braga pop's helena and jonison. ever so helpful, they are what all hostel staff should be - they really look after you. suggesting places before you ask and passionate about their city too. lots of tips on where to eat and see and go. always up for a chat and coffee on their sunny balcony or the homely kitchen. it's a neat little hostel, clean and bright, and they're doing a wonderful job. don't forget to pick up the nice map put together by locals who actually knows what's going on - combined with the knowledge of the staff there, your braga experience will be unforgettable.

Room Tip: the 4 people dorm is a little roomier, with desk and places to sit, and have a nice little balcony.

We stayed in Braga for only one day, but really enjoyed the city. This hostel is located in the centre (the city is quite small), next to the market and a culture centre. The staff are really helpful and offered us their free parking spot in front of the door. They set the table for breakfast with homemade jams and yoghurt (next to cereals, butter and bread). The room was nice and light, we were happy to find a fan as it would have been too hot during summer nights.
A detail some people might find good to know: the hostel is on the third floor, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs.

I stayed two nights in this hostel and the experience was great. I went just by myself but it was impossible to feel alone there. The staffs were really nice people, and so were the other guests that were there at the time. The rooms are good, and so is the rest of the structure of the hostel. There is a nice breakfast. One day I had to go out really early, and before the time that the breakfast began, and the staffs made the breakfast earlier on that day so I could have breakfast before I went away. This really meant a lot to me.
