Besides the construction works which were in progress in the hotel during our stay, it was pretty okay. Drilling just made the moments spent in the room unbearable. If you don't mind old furniture, the place is okay. WiFi was only working at the reception area. There is useful takeaway in the hotel building, where you can have very cheap food. Many locals were buying there.
Beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel, city centre is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Everything was as it should be and all my expectations were met. The food was cheaper than at other eating places although it was buffet style. My flight home was in the evening and I asked if I could keep the room until 5.30pm. This was agreed at no extra charge.

I would have preferred to have a fridge in the room but the hotel did have a water cooler/purifier which could be used to fill bottles of water to take to the beach or to the room, which compensated for the lack of a fridge.

Five minutes walk to the beach. Thirty to forty minutes to the town along the road or along the beach.

Have to be honest- I was the only guest at this hotel and I was out of season, so it might have been better if I was visiting in-season.

First of all, I was coming with late flight from Funchal and the hotel offered me a return-transfer of 10EUR, which was a very good deal. Actually service before and during my stay was excellent. Friendly and helpful people in Porto Santo.

This hotel offers apartments and further down the road hotelrooms.. Porto Santo is small, but I did see offers of excursions and wifi in the lobby. There was a telly corner. In season there is breakfast service also. Ground floor has 3 eateries, open in summer.
The establishment seemed nice and clean. A small shoppingcenter nearby.

My room was on the 2nd floor, twin beds of good quality, plenty of storage space, balcony with table and chairs, telly has quite a selection of channels in english, german, dutch, italian and portuguese. Bathroom with tub, plenty of hot water- looked quite new to me. aircondition.

There might be more services and facilities and hopefully other to mention.

For my deal of EUR25 per night -room only- I have nothing to complain about- just wish I had a bit more time to see more.

Flying to Porto Santo PXO is rather expensive- the flight from Funchal takes 12 minutes. PXO airport is quite big for an airport with limited flights- but there is a logical explanation for this. I leave up to you to find out why.

Room Tip: I think there are rooms with seaview and they probably cost more.
