Arriving at the hotel a few days after Christmas with my husband and 10 month old little girl we were immediately made to feel welcome at choupanahills resort. This is how the week continued. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and although there are a few stairs here and there were more than willing to help with the pram. The hotel was great with our little girl and never made us feel as if we should not be in the restaurant in the evening or relaxing by the pool. Basically on this lovely island we found a very friendly and welcoming hotel and we will be sure to go back. The only thing I would say is that although the food in the restaurant was great, it seemed a shame that they did not do more of the delicious local dishes in a more, refined way rather than a few 'try a little hard' dishes that looked great but were not the most tasty. Also be careful about the watery toast that comes with the egg option at breakfast!
Would highly recommend this hotel but as everywhere on this pretty island it is set fairly high in the mountain and although they provide a shuttle service into town this ends at 6pm so a car to explore the island is a real must.
