Sturdy old fort right on the seafront, painted a fetching yellow (beware, it rubs off on clothing and skin easily!). The building itself is quite interesting with plenty of views on each level as you go up. The contemporary art is rather underwhelming, but go for the building and the views. There is also a restaurant overlooking the battlements which has a good reputation and a great setting.
