This park is small but packed with vegetation and gives cool and peace in the city. Great for people watching and chilling
You don't get anywhere much on the island without walking and this outside space filled with all sorts of brugmansias, plumerias, bamboos and huge palms with the gentle sound of the fountain is just what is needed to rest those feet.
With many beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees and lovely fountains this a good place to sit and relax if walking round funchal, or perhaps before taking a taxi back to the Lido district. There is also a good value coffee shop(also nice hot chocolate) and - oh yes!! - free and clean public toilets!
