Wished we'd eaten there at night. Just called in for a sandwich, inexpensive, superb bread and such a friendly nice owner. Next time we will have dinner there too. It's small inside so no doubt better to book.
Friendly staff, wide range of foods. Espada with banana particularly good. House wine cheap and good.
Lovely food and a very friendly owner + family. The price are good and it's open for breakfast, lunch, in between and dinner. We go to Funchal twice a year and have most of our meals in this restaurant. We just love it.

We were visiting the Barracuda before Dino and Luisa took over and have continued to be regular customers ever since. Every time we visit Funchal we make a bee-line for the Barracuda and have enjoyed breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. The food is good and plentiful (I can never finish a whole plate) and the prices are competitive. We have recently returned home but really look forward to our next visit.
