Just down the slope from the station, we found this, but hesitated to enter as it looked a tiny little place and the menu on the door was only in Portuguese, but the prices looked reasonable, so we took the plunge and soon we found it was much bigger inside and the waiter swiftly bought us an English menu which gave us plenty of choice. I went for the diced pork with diced roast potatoes and salad and my wife chose the pork steak in coffee sauce which sounded like a novelty dish but she reported was delicious. Mine was pretty good too. A wide range of desserts on offer, I chose the creme caramel which was excellent, much better than the ones I've had in the UK. Very quick and attentive service even on a busy Sunday night, I found this restaurant excellent. Be brave and enter the little door and you'll find it worthwhile.
