We stayed two nights in this hotel. When in vacation, we usually usually use our hotel room just for sleep and a quick shower. So why to book an expensive one down town and not to save some money by booking a cheaper one a little bit further but with a good transportation? Well, I have to say that I did well. Our room was clean and the bed was OK. My fiance would prefer a softer one, but I personally slept well. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bathroom was clean but my fiance had an issue with the height of the shower. The ceiling above the shower wasn't suitable for a man 6 feet tall. So he didn't really enjoy his showers. There are many places to have a good breakfast in the area if you decided not to eat the breakfast the is served in the hotel. My personal rate is 4/5 but my fiance gave it a 2/5 so that makes us 3/5...
Good choice for a low budget.

I was a bit scared when I read some of the reviews but turns out it wasn't bad at all.
The staff was nice, quite helpful and friendly. Don't hesitate to ask for advice and maps of the city. They will provide you with good information and a smile.
The room was quite small but clean. Same thing for the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but the blankets looked old and, because of their material, didn't look very clean.
Breakfast was acceptable as well although a little more choice would have been appreciated (maybe add some honey, eggs and fruit).
The location was good, between two metro stations from two different metro lines which is a very good thing.
We only stayed for two nights and, for the price, it was all in all a nice experience. if you are on a tight budget, this is a good place to stay.

Budget accom in central lisbon. For what we needed it served perfectly. The room was very clean, the bathroom well sized and the decor was modern. The room was serviced every day. The man on reception was happy to help us with whatever we needed. Breakfast was basic but fine for us, breads, cheeses hams yoghurt etc. This hotel is exactly what you would expect for the budget traveller, and once again I feel frustrated that people pay the cheapest they can, then act surprised or let down when they don't get 5 star luxury! We would stay here again no problem, we felt safe, comfortable and the location was great. The lift was the only downside, it only fits one person, but even that is not exact the end of the world!
All in all, a lovely well run hotel in central lisbon. Not luxury, but by far better than staying in a 'hostel' for the same price!

I have to say I was disappointed in this hotel, it needs some money spent on it to bring it back to life, although the room was clean, everything is old and worn out.

Even the staff looked tired.

The breakfast was marginal, it lacked imagination, and could of had a better selection.

It is quiet a long distance from the city, but then I guess the Metro is only a 100 metres away, it is in the old part of Lisbon and the surrounding area looks a little suspect.

I would of rather of spent a little more and got closer to the City.

Beware of the pickpockets especially in the trams, it seems some of the gipsy woman work in pairs, I felt their hand in my back pocket, but my cell phone was in the front pocket, still it was amazing as I never felt them undo my back pocket.

Room Tip: Get a room with a street view

Stayed for a week, hotel was clean , room was clean , breakfast was good, staff were helpful, friendly and spoke good English at reception, and only a short walk to the metro, only let down was that maybe the walls between rooms were a little thin and could hear just about everything going on in the next room. All in all i thought it was very good value for money.

Room Tip: i was in 1st floor room facing the back, very quiet at night with window open

I stayed here with my family for 5 days.
It certainly looks better on the pictures. Disappointing.

The staff is unfriendly and do not have good advices on where to eat. Ask somewhere else.

Location is good, close to 2 or 3 metro stops, 10-minute ride to the city center.

The sixth floor has been renewed, the rooms are big and clear. My parents had a problem with the air conditioning and had to change rooms after the third night.

Breakfast is poor, fruit juices are terrible.

Would not come back and do not recommend.
