I stayed in the hitel while coming back from Spain. It is basic but has everything you might need. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning works perfectly and the bathroom is clean. The receptionist Claudia was very friendly and offered some advice on what to visit in Lisbon. The price of €39 was just great and the location in the centre was very convenient.

last year i stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and for my 42 euros a night it was money well spent.the hotel is in a nice part of lisbon and it's very quiet a night.the rooms are basic and very clean and the staff are more than willing to help.from the outside the hotel is not very modern but that adds to it's charm.there's many cafes in the area,a handfull of restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets.you will have a choice of 2 metro stations that will take you 10 minutes to the city centre-sao sebastio or praca de espanha.if you want to go to the beach at costa de caparica bus 153 or 161 will take you there from praca de espanha, the bus station is right next to the metro.the next time i am in lisbon and i go looking for a hotel this is one that ticks many boxes for me.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony and if your a light sleeper like me this hotel is ideal for you.

Stayed at Hotel Italia for 3 nights in September 2012 on a business trip. The rooms are a bit on the small side however spotlessly clean. Close to the Gulbenkian garden and central for metro and bus. The staff was helpful and attended all my needs. Excellent value for money

I stayed recently for 2 nights at this small hotel 4/5 metro stops from the centre of Lisbon - it location is away from the main tourist spots and noisy nightlife and is in a very pleasant neighbourhood. Very handy for local bars and restuarants & Lidl suppermarket across the road. The Airport bus stop and buses into the centre are five/six minutes walk away. The 24 hour hotel reception desk was helpful and the hotel was secure and the whole hotel very clean and well maintained. The room & facilities were adequate for me (a single room) and the bathroom/ shower was good. A pleaseant breakfast room overlook the patio area and was nice to sit out.
