“A Real Jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014 via mobile

I booked 3 rooms here because I was attending a conference and combined it with a family get together. I knew nothing about Lisbon or the hotel. It was a wonderful experience! The rooms are awesome, the facilities fabulous, and the breakfasts very tasty. Best of all was the friendly staff, who were so accomadating to my entire family. There was true concern amoung the staff, making sure my sick grandson was feeling better.. Special kudos to concierge Andre for doing a great job in suggesting some great places to eat!

The title of our review is very true. We've never done a tripadvisor review before but felt compelled to do so. From the first second on walking in, to the free use of the beautiful spa changing facilities on check out - we felt well and truly spoilt. The location is great, just north of the Avenue and good transport links right on the junction down the hill. The breakfast is incredible. Rooms are spotless, modern and very well equipped - with lovely bathrooms and fancy tv. Toiletries and water etc refreshed everyday. The staff really were exceptional, every single one made us feel welcome, good conversation and helpful tips. If you want a treat of a stay or to celebrate an occasion then this is the place to go.
We want to move in permanently.....

Room Tip: River views are lovely.

This is one of the most well appointed hotels I've stayed in - it has all the mod cons! Rooms are well sized, the bathroom is great with plenty of counter space, and the rainfall shower is incredible! Gym and indoor pool/ spa are great (though the water is warm!! Makes lap swimming hard work!). Sadly, the outdoor pool was closed when we were there, but I bet it's amazing in the summer!

Staff were friendly and very professional. Bar was nice, though quiet. The hotel itself is somewhat set back from the main buzz of town, but it is very easy to walk in or hop in a cab to get to the main stretch.

One thing to not would be to ensure any cab driver you has knows it is the Epic Sana. There are a few Sanas around town. They seemed to refer to it as Epic rather than Sana, so make sure they acknowledge that word.

All in all a very nice, luxury hotel experience.

At $385 euros a night for a suite, this was a pricey option for Lisbon. The service was top notch, though, and the hotel is gorgeous. The spa was incredible. The buffet breakfast is great, and the restaurant staff was very helpful. They charged me 10 euros to borrow a power adapter - which should have been free - so don't forget your own. They also gave me a very nice bottle of Champagne and cake for my birthday. The pool and health area of the spa are the best I've seen. When we checked out, we asked if they had any special rates to extend our stay. After spending $1,800 dollars for three nights, I thought they could have given us some kind of a deal, as the hotel was pretty empty. But they didn't offer anything, so we left and went to cascais. Also- when we checked in, they invited us to a party they were throwing that night for Lisbon fashion week. It was very generous of them to invite us, and we went. The only thing is that once we were there, they told us that we couldn't eat any of the food that had been set out, so that left us feeling a little awkward. Overall, though, this hotel is worth checking out. It's pretty new, and I think they are still getting the hang of how to do things. I'm sure they'll get there. The staff could not have been nicer.

I attended a conference at new hotel of Sana's network and I brought my family with me as well; we stayed 5 nights and the experience was very positive.

It is not a hotel for family at all, its proposition is much more for business travellers, but the even so, the family enjoyed the fact that it is all new and services is good. Rooms are spacious and well services with amenities. Breakfast offers good option and room service is quick.

Albeit the location is not exactly "walk distance" of any major attraction, it is quite convenient due the fact that is almost side by side to one of city's large mall - Amoreiras.

For a business perspective, it is good and well prepared for a large event and single appointments.

Excellent staff who will do 101% to help you. This is a very well presented modern hotel. The food and service are tremendous.

Staff actually go the extra mile on service, nothing is too much effort.

There was a full 5* service with our meal at lunchtime.

The business service and support at our meeting was top drawer. Well done to the staff and management here!
