My family and I, six of us altogether, went into this restaurant and first got cheese, bread and olives being told we would be charged what we ate. We ate the bread and the olives (both very good) and ordered our mains. After waiting an hour and a half the first plates arrived, Cuttlefish and squid. Both dishes were comparable to rubber. The next dishes, the sardines were alright, the clam was bad and the cod was returned along with the squid and Cuttlefish dishes. My steak was poor with chips that had a bag too much of salt. When the bill arrived we had not been charged for only the squid and Cuttlefish. We asked them about the cheese (which had not been touched) and the cod (which was returned) and they then took the cheese off the bill. They refused however to take the cod off the bill saying "Portuguese cod is suppose to be very salty and very well cooked" in reply to our comments that is was overcooked and hard. Staff were unapologetic and aggressive saying we did not like the good food we had ordered. They did not try to recook the meals that were returned.
