Owner description: This suspension bridge across the Tagus River has the longest central span in Europe, at 1.5 miles. It also looks quite a bit like San Francisco's famed "Golden Gate Bridge," though this one was named after the revolution.

“a big bridge”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

the bridge is impressive day and night, specially when underneath it. go cross it if not foggy and see the statue of Christ.

it has a more strategical importance then architectural.

“AS CHARMING AS GOLDEN GATE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Any coincidence? Nope! same engineer, same shape, same gift to our senses! the "Bridge of April 25th" links Lisbon to southern Portugal and various beautiful cities along the Atlantic shore. Close to "Tower of Belem", it represents the navigation/discovery era (Brazil included!).
