The plus:
Good location, wifi (although they still use password generators for each device), no carpet, toilet amenities and cost (due to its quality)

The minus:
Room decoration from the 90's. Holed quilt, CRT TV, triplicated channels, bad shaped furniture, noisy room (if you're in the lower floors, you can hear the subway). Breakfast room and food, just ok.

Room Tip: Chose a room as high as possible. Lower floor rooms are noisy (subway)

My daughter and I were on our last day of our travels in Portugal and had made a mistake when booking our accommodation so were in Lisbon, a festival was happening and we'd searched on the internet and had gone to about 10 places looking for accommodation, cheap places as well as more expensive places but they were all full. We were getting tired, everyone was friendly but everywhere was full. Then we came upon the Hotel Travel Park and Joao Silva was at the desk and he was really concerned for us. He checked all accommodation places and then after a long amount of time he found a room for us that hadn't been claimed by a customer who had booked it previously. The room was clean and smart and the breakfast was lovely. Thank you very much to Joao Silva the service you provided was above and beyond. I look forward to returning to Portugal because everyone was so lovely.

We spent a week in this hotel. It's located close to downtown (15-20 min on foot or 3 metro stops). Anjos subway station is not more than 50 metres away from the hotel. Taxi to the airport costs around 11 Euro and gets there in 20 min. I don't understand people saying hotel's located in bad neighborhood. Do not be concerned by such comments, because neighborhood is not dangerous at all. Districit like any others anywhere else with different people. You can find couple of stores and kebab places on the street hotel's located at. Biggest advantage of the hotel is staff, everyone was very friendly, kind and keen to help. We were located on the 5th floor, so we were not concerned about the subway noise. However I don't know how things look like on lower floor. Breakfasts were good, however IMO warm dishes choice could have been broader. Apart from this, breakfasts were good. Hotel provides 24h complimentary coffee/tea service in the restaurant, which is also very nice. Wifi signal was ok on our floor, again nothing to complain about. Overall we have to say that we enjoyed our time in Travel Park.

Room cleaned daily despite us only being there from Saturday to Tuesday morning.

Breakfast good choice, and slightly better than I'd of expected given the price I paid.

Beds good, only suggestion I'd said is better pillows please!

TV choice good, plenty of English channels.

If returning to Lisbon I'd consider it again.

Stayed here for a few days in October 2014.
The appearance of the hotel was nice and the staff very nice and helpful. While the room furniture and style is very basic it was very clean and of decent size. Same for bathroom with nice bath/shower and plenty of hot water.

Location is always a significant portion of what you pay for in a hotel. This one is about 20 minutes on foot from Rossio and a bit more then 30 to reach the water at Praca Do Comercio. Easy when you head out but more painful heading back at the end of the day. Subway is close by and you can help yourself by introducing yourself to it. Very easy and clean although the entries makes you wonder what you're heading into at first.

I found good eating options pretty limited but the hotel recommended a place close by that was great. Loved it - something Nicola -. Just the equivalent of a diner full of locals. Good quality and authentic food. Waiter was enthusiastic about hearing where I was from and making me taste Portuguese dishes. All for peanuts compared to city center restaurant prices.

Finally, breakfast was fair but add 1 Euro to get an espresso and not the awful coffee they serve. I had good free wifi access - streaming movies from cloud - in my room and the terrace was pretty cool. My room gave to the front/ main street and I had no noise issue.

Overall, it's a very good representation of what a good 3 stars should be. No fuss hotel but clean, decent and comfortable. All about the discount your getting vs the hotels in the city center and how much you can manage a little walking.
I'd put another plus on this hotel if I had been travelling by car. Parking here looked convenient while I suppose it's more difficult in the city center.
