“Nice and different style & atmosphere on Top of Bairro Alto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Nice and different style & atmosphere in this bar on Top of Bairro Alto.
Great for a late drink in Lisbon. Settled in a centenary building, you will find an oriental decoration of more than 4000 pieces private collection.
You will feel like being in the 20's of the last century.

After a dinner in Bairro Alto, this is the place for a drink. Don't miss it!

“Old pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

I remember this pub since the nineties. I was a heavy user, but now i prefer the roof top bars or by the river.. It's difficult to park in the area but the taxi is an option not very expensive

“Really cool, quirky bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Great bar with lots of very interesting features and a pool table to top it off! Lovely cocktails also. The staff could have been friendlier but the bar is the real draw. Recommended!

“A normal bar”

A nice place to drink after a dinner at bairro alto. Nothing special only the location. Very old working since a lot of years . Is expensive compared with others in the area

“Don't miss this, well worth the price of a drink”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

What an amazing place! Stuffed with all sorts of bric a brac, toy soldiers, military helmets, wonderful china basin in the Ladies. Great place to hang out and relax, or gawp and take photos. We went a couple of times for an after dinner drink, which suited everyone, as you can have anything from tea or coffee to beer or a cocktail. Saturday night we had to knock to be let in, Sunday closed, Monday quiet and the door was open. I also had the best coffee with milk here - lots of strong coffee, a big jug of hot milk for you to add your own, served in a porcelain cup. Drinks are a little less than double the standard price, but worth it for the amazing decor.
