“Great and inexpensive experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Take this ride. It will show you many different aspects of Lisbon especially the Alfama area. Make sure to buy tickets at a tobacco/news outlet because it's much cheaper

“May 2013”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

We took this bisecular myth in all the possible direction.....towards Alfama, towards Estrella, from Estrella to Alfama and back.. we never had problems on board (pickpockets) and daily ticket - highly recommended - allows you to hop in/down to enjoy at its best views of the city and.....even some funny experience it may occur once on board.

“It's a must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

You can't leave Lisbon without the 28 tram ride, it runs through the old parts of the city, it pass through chiado, alfama, graca, estrela, Martin Moniz. Just be careful with pick pockets , they work very well. Enjoy the ride in this charming city !!

A good experience on an old fashioned tram, everyone says beware of pickpockets, but most of the tourist seemed in good spirits, very busy tram with tourists

“A must do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

You haven't been to Lisbon if you haven't made a ride on this tram. It's a bit expensive but if you buy a Lisbon Card you can get as many rides as you like (and also get on any bus or metro in the city). We got on the tram near Baixa chiado and went to the cemetery Prazeres. There you have to get of, wait till the driver is ready to go back, and hop on again. We made a long ride, almost till the end of the line, and got off at the Iglesia da Graca and enjoyed the views along the way. We liked the part in Alfama because of the narrow roads and nice views.
