“Touristy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Very touristy, a must do thing, but a neat way to see a lot of the tourist areas of the city. For the price it certainly a must. Try to go off peak so you can sit down otherwise you do not see much.

“Nice but crowded”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

The tram was a nice scenic ride through the historic suburbs and insight into the lives of some of the locals. Mostly very crowded though which makes it impossible to see anything if you're not sitting down at the window.

“very crowded better off walking”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

it is a nice ride until they start picking up people to go the castle then it is very packed with everybody trying to get on so they do not have to walk up hill to the castle i rode it to the castle pickup then got off and took my time walking up the hill getting a much better view of the sights than from the packed tram, i guess it took about 20 minutes to walk up the hill, the other trams are less crowded and nice to ride

“Great especially when you have a viva viagem card as its included”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We got on the tram 29 late afternoon on a Sunday. Not busy, a great way to look around and save the feet and it was included in the 24 hour viagem card so noting to complain about. Worth doing and nice to see they are keeping the old trams in service and the charm of Lisbon alive.
