“Great atmosphere and the bull is not killed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Campo pequeno is a bull arena which has been restaured a couple of years ago. It is def worth going for a corrida de touros to enjoy the atmosphere and the culture behind a bull fight. The bull is not killed, the atmosphere is amazinga and the show depending on the horse riders and group of 'forcados' is generally good. Def worth going if you are visting Lisbon.

“Fantastic experience! Must visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

If you want to feel history and Portuguese tradition, you must see this!

Buy a ticket for corrida and enjoy a show! There is no difference between cheap and expensive seats so you should buy the cheapest seat (we have been at sector 7, 22.5€ per person).

The show lasts for three hours. It is divided in 2 shows with 3 scenes. In first scene there are horseriders. In second people are trying to catch bull for the horn (one man was injured because he.failed and bull kicked him and ran him over) and third is with matador.

Excellent experience! Show was on thursday night at 22h. Bulls were not killed.

“Great for shopping!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

This is the Bull Ring in the city which I believe also hosts concerts and events but underneath is a sizeable shopping mall with a great food court.
There is a wide variety of shops, from toys to clothes to mobile phones and the food in the food court is very reasonable, fresh and very tasty!

“Portuguese Bullfight - a must-see in Lisbon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

If you ar in Lisbon on a Thursday night, you must go see the tourada at Campo Pequeno. This is not for tourists – the crowd is full of multi-generational Portuguese families. Read up on the tourada online before going so you can follow the action. The tourada is full of Portuguese tradition – traditional costumes and music, excellent horsemanship and the craziness of the bull-grabbers. Bulls are not killed in the ring, but they do bleed. A memorable evening!

All seats in the arena are excellent, so don’t spend the money on the expensive ones.

“Great food, & bull ring”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

We went to Campo Pequeno & ate at one of the many restaurants that surround the beautiful building. Underground was a good shopping mall. 10pm went to a bull fight, I understand we were there for the smaller shows as she said they were 'cows' which I am guessing means the smaller bulls. There were 4 different bulls, most impressive were some of the young matadors and their 'dance' with the bulls. 10 Euros
