Me and my partner stayed here in room 919 for three nights from June 23rd 2012. We combined this hotel with another one in Monte Estoril. The choice of this hotel stemmed from the apparently great location which did not dissapoint us upon arrival. It's about a 3 minute walk from Vasco da Gama shopping centre and the Oriente station, about 7 minutes to the river, and approx. 15 minutes to Oceanario de Lisboa.
We had read about the supposedly free shuttle service to the airport on Tripadvisor (strange though that information about this service is not to be found on the hotel website) and asked the front desk about this. The information we got was that in order to use the shuttle service, we had to sign up the day before - no problem. The room was rather big but in a long shape so the room actually about half consisted of hallway. This was not a problem, just looked quite funny. The bed was a bit hard but this seems to be the portuguese way (no bedding mattress which is somewhat standard in Sweden). The room had, as we requested, a great view of the sea and also Parque Atlantico and the cable cars. However, the buildings across the street blocked some of the view, so perhaps floor 11 and up would give you an even better view. Also, since the rooms don't have any balconies, the extra charge for seaview could be considered a lesser value.
The breakfast buffet was really good, a nice variety of both bread, cheeses and meats. Several varieties of fresh fruit was avaliable and three types of juice. There is also an espresso machine with the option of "american" (a larger cup of less strong coffee, still much more tasty than what is in the large coffee container). If the breakfast or dining options isn't to your liking, there is nice café/restaurant some 50 metres away (Namur). There is also a Telepizza across the street.
Overall we were really pleased with this hotel. The only thing we missed was either a terrace, a balcony or a sitting area outside adjacent to the restaurant/breakfast area.
