“Affordable hotel convenient to metro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

This hotel was clean and accommodating. Metro station was just across the street and the city center and historic district are a short taxi ride away. Their breakfast was expansive and tasty and the staff was very helpful in every department. Rooms were clean and larger than most European hotels. There are many kinds of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood or a short walk away.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night before flying from Lisbon airport.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel has underground parking which costs 10 euros per night. Parking spaces near the hotel are all pretty packed so while I don't like paying the hotel to park I feel it's a must when staying at this hotel if you have a car.
We ate in the hotel restaurant. Again the staff were really friendly and food was prompt and fresh. Can't say it was the best meal I have ever eaten but it was edible and as the staff were so nice it's difficult to be critical of it. If I were to stay at this hotel again and arrived earlier and had time to look for somewhere else to eat I would.
Rooms were clean and functional. The interior of the rooms were a little dated but perfectly adequate for a weekend break.
This hotel is in a good location for the airport but a little far out if you are looking to visit Lisbon.

This was our first hotel in our tour. The staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The elevators though were very small and tight but the rooms were spacious and clean. The furniture and appliances were pretty out of date but still functional. The hotel is a bit far from the downtown area but there is a metro station nearby which you can go to to reach the downtown area. There are also several restaurants near the hotel with good food.

Just back from a short taster of Lisbon and all it's (many) delights. We stayed in Hotel Roma a lovely hotel 5 minutes from the Metro and about 15 mins into the city centre. We had booked a family room as we needed 3 single beds and we were delighted with our spacious, comfortable and well appointed room. The hotel has a bar, bistro (had a lovely brunch on arrival), large reception and very helpful staff. I have to say for a budget hotel we certainly were very impressed and would definitely stay here again. We had requested an early check in and a room with a view and had both. Top marks to the hotel staff who were on the ball, arranged a taxi to the airport, took our bags to our room, gave us directions and maps ........... 3 star hotel but a 5 star stay.

Nice neighbourhood, big, clean apartment, nice people. We could let there our luggage for a few days. Very nice breakfast, near the airport by taxi - not expensive ride, a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

stayed here for 5 nights. on entrance the reception area was very nice until you meet the staff. Cold emotionless and had a could not care less attitude. After seeing the reception area i was expecting a nice room. Not the case. Old room and worn out windows and furniture. The wi- fi was dreadful, always losing the signal.location was really poor, next to a hos[ital, railway station and a football park. the noise was terrible. No facilities available during the day and when the bar eventually opened the food and drink were extortionate and not worth the money. will not be back very poor and the staff need training on customer service.

Room Tip: dont stay here.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2014

We were there on a tour and so was almost everyone else. It is chaos when two or three bus loads arrive but they do seem to handle the volume pretty well. Rooms are average and we stayed in an interior room so avoided any noise from the trains on the other side. The positive is the large number of back street restaurants nearby where a quite meal can be had dining outside. Wi-fi was acceptable and the buffet breakfast more than enough. I would not have stayed there had we not had it as part of our tour.

Room Tip: Stay in an interior room away from the trains across the street.
