“Very nice, lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here only one night, as we were flying out the next day and we were taking advantage of a family member's Marriott employee discount. From the moment we pulled up, we received first class treatment. The lobby, breakfast room and hallways were spotless, the hotel manager is on the floor and visible, giving instructions to staff and chatting with guests. The bar was lively, but comfortable and we spent an evening there with a very reasonably priced bottle of Douro wine (16 euro). The Portuguese version of nachos was interesting (Doritos and guac) but the people watching was fascinating - truly an international hotel.
We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the airport - 7 minute drive. It probably wouldn't be ideal for a tourist unless you didn't mind taking a taxi each day to the river area. Our room was on the second floor, so view was limited. The room itself was roomy, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had in Portugal. We would definitely come back here!

Room Tip: ask for a high floor for the views.

This hotel has nice rooms. It is a bit far from the city by walk. The hotel itself contains a good equipped fit room and a nice swimming pool. It has a nice restaurant with excellent food and kind well-trained staff. You immediately feel at home.

Very comfy hotel, close to all the side attractions and not too far from the airport. Friendly staff, clean and airy room thou limited cable channels. You can easily walk in the night and the air is so cool and fresh, overall stay was good but could be better.

Room Tip: The higher the floors the bigger the rooms.

Late flight into Lisbon so great to find that hotel was a cheap 10 min cab ride from the airport. Welcome was great and environment is what you would expect of the Marriot brand with comfy airy public areas and good quality room and bedding. Breakfast was fresh but a little limited for my liking. Overall value for money was good particularly given that I only booked around two weeks before hand. Not ideal for what I call old town but transport is good and Lisbon isn't a large place at all so not far away from sights. I would stay again on business without hesitation.

Room Tip: I was on a higher floor 15 which meant is was really quite, suspect morning traffic might be a littl...

The room was clean and quiet, though not overly large (about 8 X 4 meters). The TV channel line-up is not extensive, but does include BBC World News. The remote is straightforward and easy to use, as are all the switches in the room. On the down side, the mini-bar frigo was locked and no key given; the stopper for the sink drain broken and during my stay, the hair dryer just fell off the wall spontaneously.

The staff were efficient and helpful. The WIFI was part of my firm's rate package, but I found it slow.

The cost to launder a man's shirt is €11; socks €4; underwear € 4.

The breakfast buffet was good, with an efficient egg station right under your nose. The coffee is good, served HOT in your personal thermos-carafe, with a carafe of hot milk upon request.

The real downside for me is the location -- seemingly way, way away from anything. Unless you want to deal with taxis, there is nothing to see or do outside of the hotel facilities, which are typically Marriott and fine, but there is no Lisbon "flavor".

I spent 4 nights at Lisbon Marriott Hotel for business reasons. As I'm an elit member I could use the mobile check in which was efficient. The key of my room was ready and it took 5 minutes to check in.
The room was very nice, a Marriott standard. There is a small fridge in the room, but empty, which means no minibar at all. But you can buy drinks, snacks at the lobby shop all arond the day.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they are well traind.
The only negative thing is that the hotel is far from the downtown, it took around 45 minutes to get there by public transport. But there is a bus stop near the hotel, so you can easily reach or underground or train.
Overall my stay was good at the Lisbon Marriott, but if you are for sightseeing and not for business, choose an another hotel which is nearer to the city center.

I stayed at the Marriott for 2 nights.
The hotel in itself is really nice and clean.
The room is really spacious and clean.
The reception staff was very helpful.
The breakfast was OK.

We had free time in the morning so we went to concierge to get some information on the activities in Lisbon.
One of them gave the worst service ever. At first, he did not pay attention to us then he hardly spoke English or he hardly spoke.
The second tall concierge was much more helpful and kind and gave the information we needed,
