Carris is part of Lisbon with historical trams and buses.
As we were passing we thought that we would look at the museum as the city makes a great deal out of their old trams. The museum was very quiet and it seemed as if we had a personal visit. The information regarding the history was good but the ride in the tram to the tram shed was the highlight. This is a tram spotters paradise (I'm not one but really enjoyed the experience.)
It's a nice museum showing the publis transportation on Lisbon, but not much more than that.
Very well preserved trams from the early years of the XXth century. The visit has two different sites and, to link them, Carris invites you to ride in a 1920 tram (included in the entrance fee)
In tha way to Belem in Calvarho there is very big museum of buses must visit..................................
