I booked a table at this restaurant based solely on the reviews from other tripadvisors and was like them totally enchanted by its decor, staff and wonderful food. Up a small side street close to one of the major roads in Lisbon this example of non-touristy, traditional Portugese cuisine and hospitality is a breath of fresh air where service is never pushy and there is a genuine wish to share the experience with the customer. We had an excellent 3 course meal of game sausage, tiger prawn and my favourite rice with mixed sea food followed by a huge wedge of lemon meringue pie from the trolley washed down by an excellent wine from the waiter's recommendation. We rounded the meal off with coffee and liquers on the house all for 118 euros. Great value and I will definitely be back should my travels take me to Lisbon again and I want to feel at home in strange city.
