“Lisbon breakfast in Jan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Sitting outside in the sun sipping coffe, juice, eating omelette and pastries as the Lisbon capital city wakes up and starts its slow, gentle day is best done from this august and established venue.

“Best Custard Tarts In Lisbon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

I went to Pasteraleria de Belem and liked Casa Brasileira better. They had a hint of vanilla that Pasteraleria de Belem was lacking. I was at Casa Brasileira daily for their tarts.

“Excellent typical portuguese cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Just back from Lisboa for 5 days last week. Had no breakfast included in the hotel deal so found this place and went there everyday after we tried it. Great stuff with typical portuguese atmosphere and freindly service. They have lots of pastries, I tried a different one (actually 2) every day and it was brilliant. cheap and brilliant Bica (expresso). I had 2 pastries, a Bica and an orange juice or a huge bowl of fresh fruit and it only cost around 4 euros. We stayed at the counter so we could enjoy the atmosphere with all the locals coming in for their Bica and cake.
The same guy served us every day and he was very freindly. We left saying obrigado and amanhã and we had a bit of craic with him even though is english was inexistant. Would definitely make my business to go there the next time I am in Lisboa.
