Could see it from our hotel, an amazing feat of engineering....worth seeing along with the 25th April bridge.

“What a wonder!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

What a way to enter the city. This bridge is so long and you get an amazing view of both the bridge and Lisbon City as you cross it.

“Beautiful and elegant engineering work”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

The Vasco da Gama Bridge is a modern cable-stayed bridge that spans the estuary of the Tagus River and it fits perfectly and elegantly within the new and modern area of the Parque das Nações. It is the longest bridge in Europe and we enjoyed tremendously the drive south and the view it offered. We also enjoyed the bridge view during the day and at night while walking the banks of the river.

Love this bridge, both as a view from Lisbon and for the experience of the drive across when heading south
