We loved this neighborhood ... although very busy late into the night. Make sure your lodging has closed windows to block out the noise. Close to everything you will need - lots of locals.
Wander the streets and stop anywhere for a coffee, gelato or a soup. Try the Caldo Verde where ever you can. It's a traditional Portugese soup that they serve everywhere.
Where else to go to eat? Hundreds of restaurants and wine bars. Just go. Look around and get a seat somewhere!! iTS ALL GOOD!
Well we walked around the area and it was fascinating but we did get lost despite trying to follow a guided walk...doesn't matter though cos you're not far from anywhere and you can always hop on a tram...
The mall and the street are a great point for shopping. A variety of labels in the heart of Lisbon. Cafes and various happenings are contributing to a very relaxed atmosphere!!
