We just spent almost four weeks in Europe - starting in Lisbon for four days in mid November.
It's a beautiful historic building. Awesome location downtown - close to sites and restaurants. Next door to the train station so if you're planning a day-trip to Sintra, it's perfect. Clean and comfortable beds. It included a wonderful buffet breakfast and WiFi. The concierge was excellent at helping us find good nearby restaurants. The price was far less than what I'd expect to pay for all that. Four nights was less than $800 Canadian taxes included - US$ would be about the same.
The front entry is a bit tucked away - in an alcove between the hotel and the train station. Our taxi dropped us off across the street at a different hotel, so we wandered around a bit on the wrong side of the building trying to figure out how to get in. That was the taxi's error, not the hotel's.
