Only travelled round her a little but did enjoy it very much, actually played tourist on a sightseeing tour for the first time and was worth it to see all that we had missed
The streets are well planned and dotted with centuries old architectural buildings. A turkish restaurant served great Pizzas
This area seems to never sleep. There is always something going on. Lots of cafes, shops, and scammers. Keep your wallet in the front and watch your handbags. I felt safe but on guard. There are warnings galore about pick pockets and scammers. Not much different than most busy, touristy areas of any city. Beware of the men selling "pot" and other things. They are selling fake goods. That's why the police don't intervene. They may even grab your bag or try to steal. And once you encounter one, they swarm aggressively upon you. Just be assertive, if not aggressive and tell them back off. They usually do. But, generally this is a fun lively spot
Great shoe stores in this area..as well as clothing stores. Lots of action on the streets here..seems to be full of people all the time!
Including a cup of coffee & some sweet stuff. A lot of shopping options, too. A bit touristy in that there are just so many people most of the time and you have to be alert all the time but all in all worth the time.
