The most amazing place in the capitol of Portugal! In my opinion absolutely MUST SEE in Lisbon. You can just sit on the bench and relax by looking at the massive glass walls. Entrance is not expensive, student discounts available.

“Impressive!”

The Oceanario of Lisboa is impressive! It is very well looked after and it’s very amusing for both kids and adults. Definitely it’s worth seeing while going to Lisbon.

“A must”

I love Oceanario. Not only it boasts a huge central tank with amazing large fish, as it's divided into the four main oceans. Don't miss the otters and the penguins.

“Worth a trip if you enjoy aquatic life!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

The main water tank with its sharks, rays and even a sunfish was overwhelming! The aquarium shows a lot of different animals, starting from big fishes like Manta rays continuing with sea horses, squids and they even have a penguin colony! All animals are kept in big habitats, there are exhibitions about the ocean pollution, about how to be "greener" and the changes of ocean life in the last century which definitely fitted the main attractions.
