“Brilliant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

I used to live in Portugal for ten years, when I was a child. Of all my memories, the most vivid are of the Oceanario. Countless times when we hit up that part of Lisbon (Vasco Da Gama Mall, Parque Das Nacoes, etc.) we would go to the Oceanario. The diversity of animals here is wonderful, prices are not too bad and the enviroment is great, Every once in a while there might be a tour group of school children, but the expanse of the facility lets you distance yourself from them. My most cherished memories are of this wonderful place, and it still retains its magic.

“underwater beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Surelly one of the best underwater Museums we have seen. although without a "tube" under the sharks, like many others have, this one is really well placed, has many different fish species and birds, turtles, etc. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Oriente Metro Station towards the river and right turn. the walk is great with nice weather. Not so nice if its raining. parking is easy as it has many Parks around. After the Oceanarium, I advise a walk towrds the marina or Vasco da Gama bridge, always by the riverwalk.
