“Magical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

We had to queue for a very long time to get into the Oceanario but it was really worth it. An absolutely magical day out. The central aquarium is mesmerising with a huge number of different species on show.
We also saw the temporary sea turtle exhibit which was worth paying extra for. The best bit of the whole place is the sea otter enclosure though - they were definitely the cutest animals I have ever seen.

“Not to be missed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

I own a marine aquarium so I'm very picky about the quality of aquariums for the general public. Often they have nice fishes but poor condition for the corals and other small animals. Not the case on the Oceanario, every display from the huge central aquarium to the species-specific ones are well maintained and the animals doing great. Currently they have a temporary exhibit on the sea turtles that are really worthy. My toddler had a blast with the turtles swimming under him.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Amazing aquarium! The fantastic layout showcases the main tank (sharks, big fish, rays, etc) while giving you a diverse set of smaller exhibits. The staff is friendly and helpful (English friendly). And best yet, the prices are extremely reasonable.

For photographers, you'll be very pleased with how clean they keep the viewing glass. Also note, they close the doors to new visitors an hour before closing, so don't wait until the very end to show up.
